Our Story

Smart Chikan Emporium began in 1972, founded by my father with a vision to take the beauty of Lucknow’s Chikankari to markets beyond India. We started with exports and introduced traditional Chikankari to international customers.

In 2004, I joined the family business alongside my studies. With a background in Fashion Designing, I began transforming traditional Chikankari into contemporary designer wear for India’s growing fashion market.

Today, Smart Chikan Emporium is a trusted wholesale Chikankari brand, working with leading Chikankari and fashion brands across India. Our company, Toffsmart Chikan Private Limited, continues this legacy by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern fashion.
